The heavily pregnant Meghan Markle made a trip to New York yesterday to attend her baby shower and celebrate her pregnancy, which was organized by her girlfriends including Jessica Mulroney.
The guest list includes Benita Litt, TV producer Lindsay Roth, celebrity friends Amal Clooney, Priyanka Chopra and Serena Williams, designer Misha Nonoo, and former Suits costar Abigail Spencer.
After Meghan Markle’s shower, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will also be heading off to Morocco for a 3-day tour; completing engagements and visiting schools. It is thought that Meghan Markle is around 30 weeks pregnant when she flies.
The couple’s trip to Morocco comes four decades after the Queen visited the country in what was described as the “tour from hell.”
“It will build on the close relationship between the U.K. and Morocco,” a Kensington Palace spokesperson told People in a statement. “The Duke and Duchess are looking forward to the visit which will highlight the vital roles that girls’ education and youth empowerment are playing in, and shaping, modern Morocco.”
