A private jet carrying Jennifer Aniston and her girlfriends, including FRIENDS co-star Courtney Cox, was forced to make an emergency landing in Ontario International Airport when one of the plane’s wheels feel off after take-off. According to Fox 11, Aniston and her guests were headed to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico to celebrate the actress’ 50th birthday.

The plane owned by Jennifer Aniston spent roughly three hours circling above the airport to burn fuel because it would have been too dangerous to make an emergency landing with a full tank. The plane landed safely around 2:00 pm and the girls had to board another aircraft to continue their journey to Mexico.

Sky News quoted a Federal Aviation Administration spokesman as saying: “A Gulfstream G4, tail number N729TY, lost a wheel or tyre while departing from LAX.
“The aircraft departed without incident and circled near Ontario International Airport (ONT) to burn fuel.
“The plane landed at ONT without incident, with the gear down, shortly after 2pm. The plane’s planned destination was Cabo San Lucas.”
