As British Airways is still in their centenary celebration mood, the airline has made a big announcement regarding its business class seating.
The airline has confirmed its new fleet of A350 aircraft as well as revealing its much-awaited new business class seat – the ‘Club Suite.’
The Club Suite will offer a 1-2-1 floor configuration with seats having direct-aisle access, along with flat-bed seats to help you snooze in the sky and a suite door to add privacy.
Compared to the regular economy seat, the suites will have 40 percent more storage, PC/USB power ports, mirror, large entertainment screen, and vanity unit.
These suites will be officially unveiled on their new A350 aircraft, which also boasts high-speed on board WIFI, reduced noise levels along with ambient lighting, high ceilings and refreshed air. The fleet will also have higher levels of humidity so mot to dry out your skin.
It is also believed that the A350 aircraft will reduce fuel burn by 25 percent.
Alex Cruz, British Airways’ Chairman and CEO said in a statement: “The arrival of our first A350 featuring our new Club Suite is one of the most exciting developments in our £6.5 billion investment programme.
“Each new suite has direct aisle access and comes with a personal door – design features which were incorporated as a direct result of the feedback we’ve had from our customers. We’ve worked hard to ensure every aspect of the Club World experience from the lounges we’ve refreshed, to the new gourmet menus from Do&Co on flights from Heathrow, and the luxurious bedding we’ve introduced from The White Company exudes the very British style and quality customers expect from us.”
The first A350 aircraft will take off from London to Madrid from July to streamline the customer service and help cabin crew acquaint themselves with the plane before starting their long-haul flights in October.
