The Wells Fargo Rewards Card is a Visa Card that offers 0% annual fees. Along with that, for the first 15 months, the user will get 0% APR.
This card also offers flexible use of the point accrued while using it. You can use these rewards points on things like travel, gift card, shopping, or even cash.
The card also offers protection features. There is zero liability protection on the card that sends you alerts when there is any suspicious transaction. It also has cell phone protection.
There are also overdraft protection advances attached to the card. You can have $12.50 if you overdraw your account by $50 or less, for anything over that, the advance fee will be $20.
Earn 5x the points on purchases up to $12,500 from the first six months. Then the point lower to 1 point per dollar. The points are good for five years, so you have plenty of time to use them.
How to Apply
If you meet the below requirements, you will be able to begin the application process. You can apply online, over the phone, or in your local branch.
You will need the standard documents like your credit history, financial documents, and so on. Once you have those, you will be able to easily fill out the application.
Then you will have to wait for the bank to go over it and pull your credit to see if you are a good candidate for approval.
Who is Eligible?
In order to qualify for the Wells Fargo Rewards Card, the applicant needs to meet the following requirements.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Minimum of 670 credit score
- Meet income requirements
Fees and Interest
When the 0% 15 months is up, the card will revert to between 16.49% and 25.49% depending on your credit score. This same setup is used for balance transfers APR as well.
In regards to the balance transfer fees, the cardholder will be charged at a rate of 5% or $5, whichever is the largest. There are cash advancement fees and rates, as well.
When looking at the cash advance rate, the cardholder will be charged anywhere from 23.99% to 25.99% once again dependent on the applicant’s credit. The advance fee will be 5% or $10.
Using your card outside of the US will cost the cardholder 3% of the transaction value. For late fees or returned payment, the cardholder will be charged a $37 fee.
In order to negate paying interest on your purchase, you will need to make the payment at least 25 days after the billing cycle. There is a minimum charge for the interest of $1.
