Bournemouth Beach Named One Of The Best Beaches In The World By TripAdvisor

Dorset’s Bournemouth Beach has been crowned the best beach in the UK at this year’s TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice Awards.

The popular golden sandy beach, which is heaving with tourists come summer, was also awarded the title of the sixth best beach in Europe and the twentieth best beach in the world by the travel review site.

Luskentyre on Scotland’s Isle of Harris was named the second best beach in the UK while St. Brelade’s Bay Beach in Jersey came in third.

The winners were determined based on the quality and quantity of traveler reviews and ratings for beaches on TripAdvisor over the past 12 months. The awards also highlighted the best beaches in the world including Europe.
